Unleashed offers training classes from beginner to advanced. Courses are a learning experience for both you and your pup! Training classes teach you how to best communicate with your puppy or adult dog. Organized training classes also provide an opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs. Once your dog has passed all three courses, you and your champion dog are eligible to test for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen certification. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 and 6:30 pm for five weeks with our trainer, Hillary Sansone.

This course builds on the skills you and your dog learned in the beginner class.

- Stay next to another dog (We pair dogs together so they learn to tune out distractions and learn how to focus on their owner instead of other dogs.)

Advanced
Continuing the intermediate class, this course prepares you and your dog to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. For those interested in moving on to therapy, rally or obedience, the CGC is an essential part of your dog's AKC title.

AKC S.T.A.R Puppy
The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is an exciting program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program is an incentive program for loving dog owners who have taken the time to take their puppies through a basic training class.
When you complete the basic training class with your puppy (up to one year old) your puppy is eligible to be enrolled in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. Upon passing the test, you'll get an application to send to AKC® for enrollment in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. All dogs are welcome to participate in the AKC S.T.A.R. AKC Canine Good Citizen
Responsible Owners, Well-Mannered Dogs.
The AKC's Canine Good Citizen program is recognized as the gold standard for dog behavior. In CGC, dogs who pass the 10 step CGC test can earn a certificate and/or the official AKC CGC title.
